Slavery in the modern world (Or more commonly noted as human trafficking) exists within Russia. Not only men are trafficked, women and children are also trafficked. Russia is an exporter for these slaves but they also receive slaves from different countries. Men, women, and children of Russia and many other countries are subjected to conditions of forced labor, in which they work in textile industries, construction industries, and agricultural industries, all in Russia. Women from Russia are sometimes victims of different countries for forced prostitution and sometimes sex trafficking. Children are also involved in forced prostitution and forced begging, or sometimes for the purpose of child sex tourism. However, as time passes, victims of child trafficking significantly decreases by aggressive police investigations. Experts continued on giving credit to these police investigations. This shows that Russia still has hope for change and can still be changed through the years (1).
